Pat, It's good to see and hear from you. Private conversations are that, private and not to be delineated and described here. What you haven't read ids the dozens of comment that I and others have deleted from this individual because they were vulgar, profane, and/or mean spirited beyond belief. He typically picks on the men and leaves the women alone, or befriends them. I can assure you had you been the target of this individual every time you posted a blog you'd be upset too. I have written some 35 blogs and like a bad penney this guy has shown up with his vulgar, negative comments. This site has rules. The rules expressly prohibits comments containing profanity, vulgarity, offensive remarks. I do not write this with glee and happiness. I would much rather be joking around on a fun blog. But this guy and people like him are like termites. When one of us is diminished we all are because if we allow it we are complicit and condone these reprehensible acts.

I don't question your friendship with Irocas. I question how others (not sure if that is you or not) view his derogatory comments as funny vs. an attempt to degrade. It is one thing for any of us to have a bad moment and type a derogatory comment....It is another thing for any blogger, Irocas or other to follow people around sniffing up their tails to make continuous negative comments towards others. That is what Irocas does to VL, Bri and myself etc.. Look at his comment here on Brian's blog...what was the value...go to my Polar Bear Plunge blog...What value was his comment there....I posted a comment a few days ago to CD and mistakenly said by, vs. buy....and here he comes again....this is a continual cycle.
Like I have said before, Irocas has been banned from MM at least twice if not more. And it takes some real effort to get banned. He even comes back to the blogs stating he has been banned numerous times. I do not care who likes him or not. But given his attitude and his continuous lack of abilities to play by MM's rules he should be BANNED FOREVER. I like Pete Rose, but he should be and is banned from Baseballs Hall of Fame....The irony is...Irocas is probably enjoying this. Maybe we should introduce him to MM's Fall of Shame....lol....G

Do you of the old guard remember the times when the blogs were full of characters and the mix on here was fairly combustible. It was all part of what made it great. this member hasnt changed he just stands out because all the rest of the characters have left because they were dying of boredom from reading dull blogs and as their friends and sparring partners gradually left. Im not however negating the feelings of those who feel anger but I do want to say that privately this is a good man who is clever with a keen irreverent wit which is not to everyones taste. Bloggers , friends we are all adults here . If you dont like it delete it, but as for the man .... I like him . Im sorry Brian and my friend George, that things have come to this. I dont want to see either of you upset or mean things written about you. George in particular is a very special man. Tink, You have all the respect that I can possibly offer for your intelligence and insight. So, let me ask you a question. On my last blog where I wrote something that was unfair pertaining to you why did you immediately and publicly notify me of your unhappiness? Where was your sense of humor? Now, I state again I have no problem conducting myself with the proper decorum and I made an immediate and public apology as well as removing the comment. Would you allow anyone to attack you every single time you wrote a blog? This character doesn't because he's your friend. That's fine. I have stated clearly how he continues to offend me and others and it's going to stop. I would suggest this character might be right at home at That is not what I signed up for here. I am a paying member and I will assert myself until he's gone or at least his behavior is. I can give a list of hundreds of authors who write fabulously interesting and popular books without vulgarity, profanity, meanness or personal attacks. It doesn't take any literary skill or high intelligence to sling personal attacks and the like. This little man needs to be gone. Period.

Would you allow anyone to attack you every single time you wrote a blog? This character doesn't because he's your friend. That's fine. I have stated clearly how he continues to offend me and others and it's going to stop. I would suggest this character might be right at home at That is not what I signed up for here. I am a paying member and I will assert myself until he's gone or at least his behavior is. I can give a list of hundreds of authors who write fabulously interesting and popular books without vulgarity, profanity, meanness or personal attacks. It doesn't take any literary skill or high intelligence to sling personal attacks and the like. This little man needs to be gone. Period.

If I have ever offended you please notify me either publicly or privately and I will apologize and/or immediately delete the offensive comment. You will never see vulgarity, profanity either express or implied in any of my writings. You will never see blatant meanness in any of my writings. That is my policy. Period. I stand for kindness and respect, and yes, humor too. Go back and read this character's comments, the ones that are still posted. You will see them peppered with implied or expressed vulgarities, profanities, and other disrepectful comments. George and I are not the only ones that have been attacked. I have been contacted by numerous other members who have been too. This guy has been banned from this site at least two other times. Do you think MM is doing that just for fun. I say, enough is enough. This fellow will either straighten up and act right or I will personally use every ounce of power at my disposal to get him kicked out of here.

As regards this member weve had an awful lot worse and hes a real character something we are missing on the blogs. Do you of the old guard remember the times when the blogs were full of characters and the mix on here was fairly combustible. It was all part of what made it great. this member hasnt changed he just stands out because all the rest of the characters have left because they were dying of boredom from reading dull blogs and as their friends and sparring partners gradually left. Im not however negating the feelings of those who feel anger but I do want to say that privately this is a good man who is clever with a keen irreverent wit which is not to everyones taste. Bloggers , friends we are all adults here . If you dont like it delete it, but as for the man .... I like him . Im sorry Brian and my friend George, that things have come to this. I dont want to see either of you upset or mean things written about you. George in particular is a very special man. I know you have questioned my friendship with this member but I suppose ive allways tended to look at it as a kind of humour rather than as insulting. The main thing is that you are upset and for that im sorry.

He evidently made another comment on the old vs younger blog that was later deleted by the aurhor or himself.
